The Ramallah Friends School community welcomes the news of the arrest of the suspect involved in the recent attack on our alumni, Hisham Awartani, Kinnan Abdel Hamid, and Tahseen Ahmed, in Burlington, VT. This development brings a measure of relief to our community, which has been deeply shaken by this senseless act of violence.

We strongly urge the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into this attack, considering the possibility that it was motivated by hate.
