The Second Stage: Environmental Stewardship
Energy Efficiency:
- A green and environment friendly building.
- The roof of the building is mounted with photovoltaic cells that will generate electricity to serve the energy needs of the building.
Rainwater Collection System and Underground Wells: collection and storage of rainwater for later use is an ancient practice that RFS modernized as part of the school’s Environmental Stewardship Program. The water collected from the roof of this building is stored in underground wells and reused for irrigation and sanitation purposes.
