Ramallah Friends School is located on two campuses in the neighboring towns of Ramallah and El-Bireh. Ramallah and El-Bireh are located about 10 kilometers north of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank and have a combined population of over 100,000 people.
Ramallah is considered to be the interim administrative capital of Palestine and home to the Palestinian Government, known as the Palestinian Authority, as well as the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), all foreign government consulates, embassies and representative offices operating within the state of Palestine, several offices for United Nations organizations and over one hundred international nongovernmental organizations.
Ramallah and El-Bireh, host to a large expatriate community, are vibrant cities, rich in culture, activities and Palestinian hospitality. The cities boast several museums, cultural centers, including the Ramallah Cultural Palace, sporting clubs and youth centers.
