Friends United Meeting and Ramallah Friends School stand in solidarity with the people in Gaza and all Palestinians who continue to endure ongoing suffering under occupation. We condemn all acts of violence and are horrified by the escalation of the bombing of residential buildings, UNRWA schools, and public institutions, and the recent shelling of the Al-Ahli Hospital. We grieve the loss of innocent lives.

To honor the gravity of the situation, we have decided to cancel the gala dinner scheduled for December 2, 2023, in Washington, D.C. Refunds will be issued, or you may consider donating the ticket price as a gift to the school.

Our hearts are with the affected families and the people, and we mourn deeply for the lives lost in this conflict. We encourage members of the RFS and FUM community to donate to agencies working in Gaza:
