#RFS Earns Recognition in the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition
January - Two Ramallah Friends School student teams participated in the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition, part of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Global Youth Program. RFS teams received 206th and 3864th places out of 5000 teams participating in the competition from all around the world.

The competition is an online investment simulation for high school students (grades 9th-12th), where students work in teams and engage in buying and selling stocks. They learn about teamwork, communication, risk, diversification, company and industry analysis, and other aspects of investing. They are also required to submit a paper on the investment approach followed by them within the competition.

RFS' teams were led by students Adam Hawash, Saad Abu Asab, and Muna Tina under the supervision of teachers Laith Hirzallah and Amer Mohamed. RFS students Tareq Badran, Rani Al Khateeb, and Reena Shteiwi also participated in the School's teams. The students carried out the work and research on their own and managed to receive great results. *
