Learning Support Program

Learning Support Program

RFS’ Learning Support Program (LSP) is the first and only inclusive education program in Palestine, dedicated to meeting each child’s unique educational, physical, behavioral, emotional, and social needs.

Since its establishment in 1995, the program has achieved remarkable success, supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, Down syndrome, physical challenges, and learning difficulties.

Today, a committed team of seven specialists, along with dedicated classroom aides, supports almost 50 students annually,  across both campuses through individualized interventions and a multisensory learning environment developed over the years.

Students from KG to Grade 12 are enrolled in the program, many of whom require one-on-one support due to learning difficulties or mobility challenges, while others need continuous assistance, particularly students with autism and Down syndrome.

To meet these needs effectively, we urgently require more classroom aides to provide the consistent support our students depend on. Due to the current financial constraints, there is a significant shortage of assistant teachers, despite the critical and ongoing need for their support. As we continue to grow and respond to increasing needs, we rely on the generosity of our community, your support and donations are essential to sustain and expand this vital program, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, thrive, and succeed.
