We welcome fall and bid farewell to a summer that was not as regular as any other summer. It seems that the impact of global warming has become inevitable, and it is now necessary for us to take quick and effective steps to face it whether by sustaining the environment or confronting climate change.
In terms of development, our school has developed two modern state-of-the-art fab labs for Computer Science, programming, and information technology, with a generous donation from Palestinian philanthropist Mr. Anan Adnan Anabtawi. A new lab has been allocated on each of our campuses, and both labs were equipped with the best technology to establish a conscious future generation. We have also developed the computer science curriculum for all grade levels. Al-Nayzak Foundation prepared the labs and offered training for our Computer Science teachers within the grant provided by Mr. Anabtawi.
Regionally, our school participated in the “I am a Leader” annual student program sponsored by the Promise Welfare Society in Jordan. Our students’ participation was significant. I would also like to take this opportunity, on behalf of RFS, to thank HRH Princess Alia Al-Tabbaa and offer our gratitude to HRH and all those in charge of this spectacular program.
The school recently began implementing a specific program to improve the study environment for our students with the efforts of the Upper Campus’ Visual Arts Department. Arts students are going to design and paint the concrete walls around campus to improve their appearance and communicate their message as young artists.
We welcome a season dear to us all, a significant season for all Palestinian communities - The Olive Harvest Season. As we continue to pray for peace and justice, we also pray this season will be a rich harvest season.
