Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is the experiential learning component of DP, undertaken by students concurrently with their DP studies, completed on a weekly basis over 18 months, requiring students to:

• Initiate, organize, lead and execute ‘CAS Projects’ of at least one month’s duration.

• Complete singular, related activities, as needed, to address the Project’s learning objectives.

• Address one or more of the three program components: creativity, activity, service.

• Demonstrate at least one of the seven CAS ‘Learning Outcomes’.

• Write reflections each week for the appropriate ‘learning outcome(s)’ in their CAS journal.
