In his speech he said that "Palestinians have, in difficult times that continue until today, always headed towards Education. Which has earned us a lot as there is no illiteracy between our youth anymore. What remains is the how, and that has a beginning but no end, and the sky is the limit."
The ceremony was also attended by HE Minister of Education Dr. Marwan Awartani and representatives of the Ministry of Education, ElBireh Mayor and RFS graduate Mr. Azzam Ismael, Ramallah Mayor Mr. Mousa Hadid, Ramallah and ElBireh Governorate Dr. Laila Ghannam, and Palestinian Authority representatives.
RFS Head of School Adrian Moody adressed the graduates saying: "When you leave our school you will take many things with you. You will have captured memories and emotions of this school which you will keep for life... But I also hope you take with you some of the core values that our school talks about. The Quaker Testimonies - simplicity, peace, community, equality, stewardship and above all - integrity."
Before presenting the graduates with their high school certificates, the school administration honored long serving teachers and administrators who retired by the end of the school year.*
