RFS Alumni Reunion 2017

RFS’ newly established Alumni Relations Office welcomed all RFS alumni and attendees on Friday July 14th, 2017 for the school’s biggest reunion since its foundation.

The event was attended by more than 550 alumni and attendees of all different ages, in the Upper School campus. A sense of belonging filled Khalil Totah Hall as all alumni sang together the Palestinian National Anthem and the RFS Upper School song.

An announcement of the plan to re-launch the RFS Alumni Association was met with pride, as it was made by three young graduates (Class of 2011) who are hoping to re-launch the association in August.

Some Alumni came with their families to the open event that included children’s activities and an open buffet. After the opening ceremony in Totah Hall, alumni toured the campus eagerly visiting old classrooms, and meeting up with some of their previous teachers and friends.

RFS current students proved true to RFS’ lifelong Quaker heritage, by volunteering to help in setting up and running the event, even though they were on summer holidays.

The Communications and Alumni Relations office launched another project during the event, by selling the newly designed RFS Memorabilia  (including t-shirts, mugs, and keychains) – For a list of items and prices please email ([email protected]).

See you at the next RFS Alumni event!
